Cello Concerto No. 1 in C

Written for principal cellist and composer Joseph Franz Weigl. Although written circa 1765, its' first known publishing is in 1963. The concerto was premiered in May, 1962 with Miloš Sádlo as the soloist and Sir Charles Mackerras as the conductor. The piece has since become valuable in the cello repertoire.
