It is important to note that Francois Schubert, composer of 'The Bee', is not to be confused with the more well-known Franz Schubert. L'Abeille is the 9th piece in Schubert's set of 12 Bagatelles that were dedicated to Comte Gustave Plater. The Bee was published in the Kneisel Collection of 30 pieces 'from the masters'.
